John got his first camera when he was fifteen, his first job in photography at sixteen, and has never really looked back.

He’s been on the photo staff of a well-known university, and a national magazine, and managed a busy photography department for a global communications company before striking out on his own in 2004.

John considers himself an ‘assistant storyteller’ - meaning, he helps his clients tell their stories. When we work together, YOUR passion becomes HIS passion, and he’ll help you bring it to life thru photos using all the tools gathered in 3+ decades practicing this craft.
